Creative Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead our design team in creating innovative and impactful visual solutions for adidas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that drive business results and enhance the adidas brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Creative Strategies: Lead the development of creative concepts and strategies that meet business objectives and align with adidas' brand vision.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product design, brand communications, and retail teams to ensure holistic storytelling and effective execution of creative strategies.
- Direct Creative Resources: Manage and direct a team of creative resources, including agencies, freelancers, and internal designers, to ensure high-quality creative execution.
- Review and Approve Production Stages: Review and approve production stages of creative execution to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Maximize Results: Work within given budget and timeframes to maximize results and drive business impact.
- Present and Communicate Creative Solutions: Effectively present and communicate creative solutions to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners.
- Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and initiate proposals for new projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree in design or a related field, with at least 6-8 years of experience in the sporting goods or fashion industry, or design on a managerial level.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong visual and verbal skills, with the ability to create impactful and exciting visuals. Expertise in design apps, 3D skills, and knowledge of virtual tools. Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Language: Excellent English language skills, with fluency in another European language.
