Senior Creative Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our team at adidas. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the creative development of industry-leading solutions for assigned concepts or categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative strategies that fulfill objectives of category, concept, and briefs.
- Collaborate with Product Design teams to ensure holistic storytelling and brand consistency.
- Lead the execution of creative strategies to ensure end-to-end creative excellence from sell-in to sell-out.
- Direct a variety of creative resources, including agencies, freelancers, writers, and photographers, to ensure holistic creative excellence.
- Review and approve production stages of creative execution.
- Maximize results within given budget and timeframes.
- Participate in the creation of annual and long-term Creative Direction strategies.
- Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity and effectively sell in ideas to various stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and change, and initiate own proposals and projects.
- Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world-class results.
Key Relationships
- Design Directors, Creative Directors, and Product Designers.
- Brand Communications, Retail, and C2C teams.
- External Creative Resources, including agencies, freelancers, and photographers.
Requirements
- Undergraduate-level Design education or combination thereof.
- Solid education and advanced experience in the creative development of communication tools.
- At least 6-8 years of experience in the Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on a managerial level.
- Proven experience with the entire design process, including project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solutions, and pre-press processes.
- Passion for adidas and its mission.
- Passion for sports, culture, and design.
