Your Responsibilities
Are you ready to leverage your expertise in Financial Instruments and Valuation to sustainably advance our Finance & Risk & Compliance Services? Here’s how you can contribute:

  • As a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Financial Instruments and Valuation, you will provide expert advice to industrial and commercial corporations as well as energy suppliers regarding the accurate accounting of both original and derivative financial instruments in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
  • Your role will also include performing financial mathematical evaluations of derivatives, complex financing arrangements, and equity-based compensation schemes.
  • You will analyze contracts in commodity and energy trading, as well as strategies for price stabilization, focusing on their accounting representation.
  • Further, you will assess and enhance the organizational structure and internal control systems within Treasury Accounting.
  • You will advise on the implementation of IT systems for the valuation and recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with new accounting standards for financial instruments.
  • Your responsibilities will also encompass evaluating the accounting implications of methods and processes in Corporate Treasury, along with your involvement as an expert during the audit of derivative transactions for international corporations.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Financial Instruments and Valuation, you should possess a successfully completed degree in economics, business mathematics, business informatics, or a related field with a focus on Finance & Accounting.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury, the financial services sector, or auditing is required.
  • You should have knowledge of the accounting of financial instruments (IAS 32 & 39, IFRS 7, IFRS 9) and their financial mathematical evaluation, along with practical experience in accounting and valuation of financial instruments within an industrial company.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and consolidated financial statements, as well as good knowledge of financial mathematics and statistics, is essential.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications is expected.
  • You should possess fluent German and English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel to provide on-site consulting for our clients is necessary.
  • Your analytical skills, strong commitment to performance and learning, excellent communication abilities, and a service-oriented mindset will complete your qualifications.
