Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate the energy yield potential of wind projects.
- Analyze meteorological data, topographical maps, and other relevant information to inform energy yield assessments.
- Utilize energy modeling software to simulate energy production and optimize site layouts.
- Collaborate with project developers, engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure accurate assessments.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to validate energy yield predictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in energy yield assessments, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., WindPRO, PVsyst, HOMER) and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
