Site Assessment Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer (m/f/d) Site Assessment, Methods & Tools to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing root cause analysis for general field issues, performing load calculations, and documenting results in technical reports.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute root cause analysis for general field issues, identifying causes and solutions in a short-term and cost-effective manner.
- Perform load calculations for class or site-specific conditions, as well as concept studies for novel solutions development.
- Document results and assessments in technical reports, and provide support during certification or claims-related tasks.
- Optimize controller functions and support the design of different components in a multidisciplinary team.
- Support service projects and project work according to Nordex project management system.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the toolchain and methodologies, based on feedback from on-field situations.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a M.Sc. or equivalent in mechanical engineering/physics or a similar field, with a specialization in dynamics and simulation. You should have more than 5 years of experience in similar roles/functions, and be familiar with recognized standards such as IEC. Additionally, you should have professional experience with aerodynamic simulation tools, and good knowledge of dynamic simulations of complex systems in an industrial application.
