In collaboration with the Chair for Laser Technology at RWTH LLT, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT is offering a master's thesis opportunity in the field of surface technology and shape ablation.
Project OverviewThe project focuses on the development of a suitable process strategy for the production of 3-dimensional sapphire components using the SLE laser processing system. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing experiments, conducting stress measurements using polarisation contrast microscopy, and evaluating and presenting the results.
Requirements- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
