Optical Surface Technology Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT. As a researcher in optical surface technology, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve the development of laser-based manufacturing processes for high-performance optomechanical components and optical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and experimental studies on the influence of laser processing parameters on flat and curved surfaces made of quartz glass
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes for high-performance optics
- Collaborate with our team of experts to design and optimize optical systems
- Master's degree in materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in laser technology and material processing
