Job Title: HR Manager

MSX International is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Cologne. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for our local employees, cooperating with our HR Shared Service Centre based in Budapest.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team, HRBP, and the wider business to ensure consistency.
  • Implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements, best practice, and industry standards.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives and promoting sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Coordinating internal communication in the market.
  • Supporting the designing of the best recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Ensuring comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new employees effectively.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, cooperating with the SSC. Acting as a second-level escalation, mediating, and resolving conflicts.
  • Contributing to performance management initiatives and managing talent through succession planning, career mapping, identifying training needs, and facilitating and coordinating training workshops as required, in partnership with the Centre of Expertise and HRBP.
  • Contributing to the development of training and development planning that invests in the most critical skills and people for MSX's future and developing the next generation of business leaders.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to gain support and buy-in for cultural change initiatives, communicating the vision and objectives to employees.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on HR activities and project progress.
  • Monitoring Right to Work requirements and facilitating Visa sponsorship as needed.
  • Cooperating, negotiating, and aligning with local works councils regarding statutory compliance (new hires, dismissals, transfers, systems, training, salary increases, benefits, guidelines, and policies, etc.) and works council agreements.
About You

We are looking for a proactive, assertive, empathetic, and innovative person with excellent communication skills who has:

  • German native language (spoken and written)
  • English fluent (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Talent Attraction, Retention, Employee Relations, workforce planning, employee engagement, payroll, and people development.
  • People leadership experience.
  • Conflict Management experience.
  • Ground experience with HR transformation, process improvement, strategy, and policy creation and implementation.
  • Experience working in a multinational company, with a matrix reporting structure, and multiple stakeholders management at a senior level.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • HRIS (SAP nice to have) experience.
  • Microsoft Office excellent knowledge.
