Project Manager Nuclear Tendering

Sulzer is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Nuclear Tendering to join our team. As a key member of our Nuclear sales team, you will be responsible for supporting our customers and driving the sales process forward.
Main Responsibilities:- Analyse customer requirements, particularly for complex applications and products for nuclear power plants
- Develop suitable technical solutions with the involvement of specialist departments
- Ensure compliance with relevant export control regulations and laws
- Consult with customers and the sales team on possible pump applications and specifications
- Configure pumps and accessories
- Evaluate subcontractor offers and expediting
- Cooperate with plants in the Energy & Infrastructure Business Unit factory network
- Analyse and evaluate commercial and technical risks of projects at the bidding stage
- Prepare and realise presentations of technical offers
- Manage and coordinate with multidisciplinary functions during bid preparation
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial offers on time and in line with market requirements
- Successful completion of technical studies (ideally mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or process engineering)
- Structured way of working and ability to break down complex issues
- Experience in at least one of the following disciplines: pump design, international tender or sales, project management, or equivalent
- Intercultural competences
- Sound knowledge of pumps or rotating equipment and accessories
- Fluent in English language (C2), other foreign languages an advantage
- Willingness and ability for international travel (approx. 20%)
