The Opportunity:
We are exploring innovative approaches to map generation for autonomous vehicles, moving beyond traditional supervised learning methods towards unsupervised and self-supervised techniques. Large Vision-Language Models (VLMs) hold immense potential in this domain, and your role will be instrumental in harnessing their power.
- Develop Novel Self-Supervised Learning Tasks: You will design and implement auxiliary tasks to enable effective self-supervision for map generation.
- Integrate and Evaluate Foundation Models: You will integrate pre-trained VLMs into our mapping pipeline and rigorously evaluate their performance in generating accurate and comprehensive maps.
Your Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of deep learning principles and experience with frameworks like PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python and data processing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
