Data Scientist Internship in Unsupervised Learning and Foundation Models for Mapping in Autonomous Driving

In the context of map generation for autonomous driving, we aim to transition from a supervised setting to an unsupervised/self-supervised setting. One idea is to integrate Large Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to solve this problem. This requires development and evaluation.
- During your internship, you will develop the auxiliary task for self-supervision.
- You will integrate and evaluate the Foundation Models.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: with data processing, with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch; strong understanding of deep learning principles; proficiency in Python
- Personality and Working Practice: open-minded, innovative, communicative, independent and curious
- Language: fluent in English
Additional Information
Duration: 6 months
