About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Siemens Energy as a Regional Sales Manager, driving sales growth in the distribution transformer market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in collaboration with marketing, product development, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned region
- Generate opportunities, manage bidding and pricing strategy with factories, lead customer negotiations, and win/loss analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners across countries and verticals
- Coordinate agents in the region, setting business goals, and ensuring these objectives are met
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to better position our products or services and advise key accounts accordingly
- Present proposals, strategies, and progress reports effectively to stakeholders and lead training programs and workshops internally and externally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in Sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and financial acumen
- Strong knowledge of distribution transformers, regional markets, and industries, including understanding of market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs
