Senior Construction Manager: Construction Engineering

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at DB InfraGO AG in Cologne. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • You will work closely with our project teams to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with our quality management systems and safety protocols.
  • You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the work of our construction teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • You will develop and implement construction plans and schedules, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • You will work closely with our procurement team to ensure that all construction materials and services are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Your Profile:

  • You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, such as Construction Management or Building Engineering.
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects.
  • You will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You will have a strong understanding of construction laws and regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • You will have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to project sites as required.
