Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to oversee and direct our construction projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Review project plans in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Lead and coordinate the site team, including Construction Superintendents, supervisors, and site QA/QC and HSE Managers.
  • Manage the use of construction equipment and machinery.
  • Resolve problems and implement improvements in construction processes with support from the Constructability & Methods team.
  • Maintain communication between project managers, site staff, and clients.
  • Liaise with clients and provide regular progress reports to staff, management, and third parties.
  • Monitor build costs and project progress to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • Graduate level Engineering in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the construction of chemical/petrochemical plants in the gas industry.
  • Excellent managerial, leadership, and people management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with construction and project management software.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
