Senior Information Security Subject Matter Expert (OT)

ZEISS Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Subject Matter Expert (OT) to enhance the security posture of our production areas. As a key member of our InfoSec Advisory Services team, you will contribute to shaping and implementing the OT Security strategy, working closely with a motivated team dedicated to information security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve ZEISS OT Security strategy and policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify threats, and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align security strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of security systems and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and techniques, and advise ZEISS businesses and stakeholders on OT Security.
  • Shape security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Support security incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with different functions across the enterprise on OT Security matters.
  • Manage and support projects related to OT Security.
  • Requirements:
    • Degree in Information Security or equivalent education and experience.
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in IT, OT, or Information Security.
    • Knowledge of OT Security industry guidelines, such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82r (2/3).
    • Expertise in emerging technologies and a structured, independent work approach.
    • Stakeholder management skills with a hands-on and goal-oriented mindset.
    • Fluent in English and German; additional languages (French, Spanish) are advantageous.
