Role Overview

As a Battery Management Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that ensure the successful design and implementation of electrical components and assemblies. Your expertise will play a vital role in our projects at Bertrandt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing Electrical Components: You will create and refine electrical components and assemblies in accordance with internal specifications, drafts, and sketches.
  • Evaluating Mould Designs: Conduct thorough assessments of mould designs, dimensions, and tolerances based on provided drafts.
  • Coordinating Designs: Collaborate with team members to develop designs that align with specified production techniques.
  • Managing Design Changes: Process design modifications by gathering necessary documentation, analyzing feasibility, and coordinating proposed changes.
  • Documentation Creation: Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design processes.
  • Wiring Harness Development: Utilize CAD tools to create, maintain, and modify dimensional drawings and circuit diagrams for wiring harness modules, ensuring alignment with customer requirements from initial development through to production support.
Qualifications
  • Completed technical studies or a technician qualification in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) - Essential.
  • Experience with Harness Design: Proficiency in Catia EHI (E3-Cable, LDorado, etc.) is required.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
