Key Responsibilities
  • Discover business prospects, craft presentations, and secure financing mandates from private equity entities, corporations, family offices, and entrepreneurs.
  • Oversee the execution of tailored LBO and Acquisition financing mandates, engaging with various sectors.
  • Provide advisory services to clients on intricate and customized financing solutions while coordinating with debt providers, legal advisors, and due diligence teams.
  • Perform and supervise credit assessments, business projections, scenario analyses, financial covenant sensitivities, and financial modeling, while managing Q&A sessions.
  • Negotiate loan agreements, term sheets, and commitment letters, guiding the financing process through to completion.
  • Independently manage project work streams and prepare necessary materials.
  • Support, oversee, and mentor junior team members throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a prestigious university. Additional credentials such as CFA, ACA, or MBA are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance advisory or investment banking, preferably with an international investment bank, a boutique advisory firm, or in audit, ideally with one of the Big 4 audit firms.
  • Strong academic credentials and proficient knowledge in financial modeling and accounting (HGB, IFRS), along with a robust network within the financial sector.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), a self-motivated attitude, and the capability to drive various project work streams effectively.
  • A commitment to supporting the team with a desire to grow and develop the business in a results-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
