Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a committed Production Planner (M/F/T) for our Itzehoe facility to fill a vacancy in production planning.
In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with coordinating and overseeing production planning and scheduling for our vacuum and side channel pumps. You will collaborate closely with production, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all planning inputs: sales orders, OEM forecasts, custom/special orders, and strategic build plans Utilizing the MRP system to convert consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule/build schedule Preparing and disseminating weekly production schedules/work orders and dispatch lists Compiling KPIs for production and leading shop floor management activities Collaborating with the purchasing team to initiate 'make or buy' decisions and coordinating external/internal machining/assembly Assisting management in addressing issues related to late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and order cancellationsCandidate Profile:
Proficient in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order policies, capacity planning, input/output control, product structures, routings, and standards maintenance Knowledgeable in master scheduling, production planning, and demand management Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and internal departments in a diverse environment Professional experience with SAP R/3, SAP APO, and/or SAP S/4 HANA is preferred Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in both German and English Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5-7 years of pertinent experienceWhat We Offer:
