Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Index Engineer Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing free float for various securities, tracking corporate events, and maintaining existing data feeds.
Your Responsibilities- Collect and analyze information on shareholding structures for Solactive universe companies.
- Calculate free float factors based on Solactive's internal guidelines.
- Review foreign ownership restrictions applicable to individual companies, sectors, or countries.
- Track corporate events and assess their impact on free float.
- Maintain existing data feeds and collaborate with internal and external parties to enhance them.
- Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in capital markets and a solid understanding of financial data.
- Proficient in MS-Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions and work on personal projects.
