The individual will serve as the voice of the regional customer, capturing market needs to inform the product portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Lifecycle Management
- Define and execute a comprehensive product portfolio with distinct product line definitions and value propositions;
- Gather regional market insights to be integrated into both regional and global product lifecycle strategies;
- Drive new product development initiatives or enhancements to existing products based on solid market analysis and business justification;
- Focus on improving product profitability within targeted sectors and exploring new market opportunities for current products.
Pricing Strategy
- Develop pricing strategies and maintain a pricing guide that aligns with product positioning;
- Monitor and analyze pricing trends to identify underlying causes when necessary;
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to grasp actual market demands and provide effective support to ensure revenue growth.
Business Support
- Acquire a deep understanding of applications within target sectors from a product perspective;
- Enhance product and application knowledge by leading training sessions and creating training materials;
- Act as the primary contact for products, providing ongoing sales and application engineering support.
Marketing Activities
- Engage with local technical associations;
- Understand local compliance and regulatory requirements;
- Lead product launch initiatives in collaboration with marketing communications;
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and participation in events.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline; a master's degree or a minimum of 3 years of product management experience is preferred, with at least 5 years in a B2B environment;
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of building relationships and effectively conveying technical information to varied audiences;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach;
- Ability to identify market needs and sensitivity to market trends;
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a strong desire for career advancement in product management and marketing;
- Proficiency in English for professional communication;
- An eagerness to explore new areas.
