Network Infrastructure Specialist

GULP – experts united is seeking a dedicated IT Administrator for IPv6 Test Center (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team in a permanent role.

As an IT Administrator for our IPv6 Test Center, you will take charge of network infrastructure services within a leading IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Management of IT infrastructure services with high availability and disaster recovery requirements
- Execution of routine operational tasks
- Coordination and implementation of system changes
- Planning and conducting testing projects
- Development and execution of system and functional testing
- Maintenance and updating of operational IT documentation
Candidate Profile:
- Completed degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure services
- Proficiency in planning, implementing, and operating virtualization technologies (notably VMware ESXi, vSAN, vRealize)
- Expertise in Windows system administration (including client, server, Active Directory, MS Exchange)
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux system administration (particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- Knowledge of network infrastructure management (especially Cisco/Aruba routers & switches and genua firewalls & gateways)
- Understanding of operational and technical IT security standards (notably BSI IT-Grundschutz)
- Awareness of ITIL Service Management principles (particularly Incident, Change, Release, and Service Level Management)
- Willingness to participate in on-call support duties
