Job Title: Head of Program Management, Intercontinental Supply Chain Europe

At DB Schenker, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Program Management team in Europe. As the Head of Program Management, Intercontinental Supply Chain Europe, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading program management efforts across European clusters, promoting operational excellence, and advancing supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive supply chain improvements by identifying and implementing digital technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Lead the design and execution of strategies for continuous improvement, leveraging insights from data analytics and industry trends.
  • Manage regional/global KPIs, setting ambitious targets for supply chain performance.
  • Act as a senior liaison among European program management teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement strategies to maintain high levels of team engagement and retention, recognizing and addressing the unique challenges of a multicultural workforce.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the program management capabilities and services offered by DB Schenker in Europe, contributing to business growth and innovation.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, predominantly in Intercontinental Supply Chain Solutions and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience in functionally managing and developing multicultural teams across different countries.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, coupled with a detail-oriented and data-driven approach to management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably additional European languages.
