Position Title: Lead Drilling Engineer

Location: The role requires a commitment to regular on-site presence for effective monitoring and coordination of operational tasks.
Role Summary: We are in search of a seasoned professional to manage projects within internationally operated facilities, focusing on drilling, workovers, and various wellbore operations. This position necessitates close collaboration with operators to ensure the successful planning and execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee completion, drilling, and well projects from initial concept through to execution, including the development and assessment of drilling strategies and specifications.
- Conduct operational oversight, perform site inspections, and guarantee adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ensure quality assurance, conduct risk evaluations and mitigation strategies, and maintain effective communication with operators and other stakeholders.
- Execute minor operational tasks in self-managed fields.
- Possess extensive experience in completion and drilling initiatives, including well intervention and maintenance, with a thorough understanding of drilling and completion techniques, alongside experience in production and process engineering.
- Hold a technical qualification in the petroleum sector or a degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate skills in project management, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
- Exhibit an analytical and problem-solving approach, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- IWCF-Level 4 certification (Enhanced Drilling and Well Intervention) is preferred.
