Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to lead our offshore and onshore project teams at GASCADE Gastransport GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed solutions for structural requirements in the design and construction of gas technical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for offshore platforms, steel structures, and structural constructions
  • Plan and coordinate with external experts and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, specifications, and performance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards
  • Participate in site management, coordination, and monitoring of construction activities on site
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project reports, specifications, and technical notes

Requirements:

  • Completed university degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Professional experience in construction planning and implementation of plant projects, preferably in the natural gas industry (offshore/onshore)
  • Building approval authorization desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with ability to interact with authorities, external firms, and experts
  • Good CAD and IT skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and MS Office
  • Very good German and English language skills
