About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to creating a more sustainable future for healthcare. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of our Environmental Strategy and Objectives, with a focus on waste minimization, energy reduction, and water conservation.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement Technical Screening criteria in accordance with Substantial Contribution (SC) and Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principles.
- Develop and implement methodologies to comply with Technical Screening criteria outlined in DNSH categories.
- Monitor legislations related to EU Taxonomy and stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
- Support the EUT Technical Lead in positioning the company regarding EU Taxonomy implementation.
- Support global EU Taxonomy (environmental) data reporting and external reporting via Corporate Sustainability.
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Law.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity, problem-solving, and implementation skills.
- Affinity for creating and visualizing decision proposals, presentations, and training materials.
