We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist Environmental Protection and EU Taxonomy Expert to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the implementation of our Environmental Strategy and Objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methodologies to comply with Technical Screening criteria outlined in DNSH categories, liaising with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor legislations related to EU Taxonomy and stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
- Support the EUT Technical Lead in positioning the organization regarding EU Taxonomy implementation.
- Support the preparation, communication, and consolidation of feedback on EU Taxonomy drafts or updates for internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Support global EU Taxonomy (environmental) data reporting, including definition of checks and balances, and external reporting via Corporate Sustainability.
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Management, IT, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Law, with complex projects.
- Experience in interpreting and presenting complex topics.
- Experience in applying dashboards and other digitalization techniques to provide transparency.
- Experience working in cross-organizational processes or projects, contributing to their success.
- Experience in change management and leading complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is considered a plus.
- Proven professional skills in complex environments.
- Ability to strive for the best solution by listening and learning.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity, problem-solving, and implementation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Affinity for creating and visualizing decision proposals, presentations, and training materials.
- Passion for Sustainability/Environmental Protection, with the ability to persuade and engage others by being empathetic, trustworthy, integer, and interculturally sensitive.
- Very good skills to document complex concepts in a comprehensive, yet readable manner.
