We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Oil Dynamics in Hockenheim, Germany. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our electric submersible pumps and horizontal pumping systems used in the water, geothermal, and oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and deinstall Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) and Horizontal Pumping Systems (HPS) at customer sites.
- Field Service Operations: Organize and execute field service work, including required reporting and documentation.
- After-Sales Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers.
- Variable Frequency Drive Operation: Program and operate variable frequency drives for our ESP and HPS systems.
- Inventory and Tooling Management: Manage field service inventory and tooling to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- In-House Support: Provide in-house support to our Service and Packaging Center in Hockenheim, including operation of test benches, assembly and disassembly of components, and support of the electrical department.
- Electrical or Mechanical Background: Hold a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ESP and HPS Systems: Have experience working with electric submersible pumps and horizontal pumping systems.
- Language Skills: Possess good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Communication and Organization Skills: Demonstrate good communication and organization skills, including attention to detail.
- PC Skills: Have experience using MS Office, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to define problems and develop solutions.
- Travel Requirements: Be willing to travel on short notice to customer sites.
- Multi-Tasking and Self-Motivation: Be capable of multi-tasking, self-motivated, and able to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
