Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Oil Dynamics in Hockenheim, Germany. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our electric submersible and horizontal pumping systems used in the water, geothermal, and oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and deinstallation of Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) and Horizontal Pumping Systems (HPS)
  • Organization of necessary Field Service work, including required reporting
  • After-sales support and troubleshooting
  • Variable frequency drive operation and programming
  • Responsible for field service inventory and tooling
  • In-house support of the Service & Packaging Center in Hockenheim, including operation of test benches, assembly and disassembly of components, and support of the electrical (panel shop) department
Requirements
  • Electrical or mechanical journeyman, master, or technician
  • Experience with electric submersible pumps or other rotating equipment
  • Good German and English language skills (oral and writing)
  • Good communication and organization skills, including attention to detail
  • PC skills, including experience using MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to define problems
  • Willing to travel on short notice
  • Capable of multi-tasking, self-motivated, and able to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment
