Lead Project Management Officer

Job Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for all PMO-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, including the LUCA Digital Finance implementation partner and METRO colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Director and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Oversee the PMO office and coordinate all PMO activities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are tracked meticulously.
- Facilitate status calls and other critical meetings.
- Participate in and document various meetings, including SteerCo meetings.
- Coordinate the preparation of status reports and verify project documentation.
- Degree in business economics or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Project Management, particularly with large IT implementations in an international context, including at least one S/4 HANA implementation, along with knowledge of PM standards and processes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills tailored for diverse audiences.
- A results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve outcomes.
- High levels of team and service orientation.
- Proactive and assertive in driving change and engagement.
- Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Certifications in TM, PM, and/or Change Management are advantageous; experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
- Minimum of 7 years of direct or indirect leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a European-based company.
