The Strategic Account Executive for the GAS region is responsible for driving sales of the complete portfolio of products, solutions, and services offered by Vontier. This role emphasizes the importance of nurturing and managing long-lasting relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with pivotal clients.
- Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Create and execute strategic account plans aimed at meeting sales objectives.
- Identify and leverage growth opportunities within key accounts.
- Conduct thorough research on targeted accounts to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline for key accounts.
- Support the implementation of the go-to-market strategy for designated territories.
- Collaborate with sales teams and business development to enhance key account relationships.
- Promote the company's diverse range of products and services.
- Lead customer negotiations, preparing tailored solutions, quotes, and proposals.
- Plan and implement innovative marketing initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in Strategic Account Management.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales dynamics and partner-based business models.
- Advanced knowledge of sales operations and digital channels.
- Familiarity with project and program management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the retail fuel market and associated technologies.
- Understanding of forecourt equipment and its functionalities.
- Familiarity with retail and digital payment technologies.
Required Skills
- Fluency in both German and English, with a preference for native-level German proficiency.
- Proactive mindset and a positive approach to challenges.
- Strong field sales and account management skills.
- Expertise in project management and relevant tools.
- Effective program leadership and implementation capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate across cultures effectively.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools is advantageous.
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience in B2B technological product markets is preferred.
- Experience with international manufacturing companies is a plus.
- Ability to work in diverse, virtual teams is advantageous.
- Experience with international assignments is beneficial.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Engineering disciplines.
- Additional certifications in project sales, project management, or business development are advantageous.
