Position: Trade Compliance & Customs Manager

Textron Aviation, recognized as a prominent player in the general aviation sector with renowned brands, is on the lookout for a Trade Compliance & Customs Manager. This position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to export and import regulations, facilitating smooth business operations across European and international landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for trade and customs inquiries
  • Develop and execute an Import/Export Control strategy
  • Supervise applications for export/import authorizations
  • Act as the company's representative in dealings with governmental bodies
  • Oversee a comprehensive customs compliance initiative
  • Evaluate and sanction international travel and visitor requests
  • Deliver continuous training on import/export compliance
  • Assist in identifying risks and mitigating the company's exposure
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge in International Transportation and Logistics
  • Proficiency in both English and German
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite and SAP GTS
  • Experience in the Aerospace/Defense sector is advantageous
