Job Overview

Renesas is seeking a dedicated Global Trade Compliance Specialist (f/m/d) to enhance our Trade Compliance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sanction list assessments as part of the Internal Compliance Program.
  • Managing export and import documentation for Germany and the UK.
  • Performing HS-code tariff classifications for Germany and the UK.
  • Executing export control classifications for Germany, the UK, and US re-exports.
  • Submitting license applications for Germany and the UK.
  • Approving pro-forma invoices.
  • Handling supplier declarations.
  • Serving as the primary contact for customs and export-related inquiries in daily operations.
  • Facilitating internal GTC awareness training sessions.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of GTC EMEA Intranet pages on SharePoint.
  • Preparing Intrastat reports.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in trade management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and export controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Basic familiarity with SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach and team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
