As a frontrunner in sustainability, WISTEMA focuses on the reuse and recycling of industrial by-products, offering tailored services across more than 60 countries. Our extensive product portfolio includes solvents, polymers, acrylates, phosphates, and starch products for various applications, with a strong emphasis on both fresh and sustainable product streams.

In 2003, we expanded our operations with the establishment of the Polymer Business Unit in Kerpen, Germany, dedicated to the trade of pure polymers, additives, waxes, and bitumen modifiers. Our polymers find applications in diverse sectors, including packaging, textiles, and construction. In 2021, we enhanced our capabilities by acquiring a logistics center, enabling us to provide additional services such as repackaging and blending.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to lead the introduction of a new product line, focusing on waxes and bitumen modifiers for construction applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Portfolio Development – You will spearhead the promotion and sales of our new polymer products, particularly in the areas of waxes, elastomers, and bitumen modifiers.
  • Sales Strategy Formulation – You will devise and implement effective sales strategies to enhance the market presence of our polymer offerings.
  • International Market Expansion – After gaining expertise in European markets, you will explore opportunities in overseas markets, including the Americas and Asia.
  • Client Relationship Management – You will cultivate and expand our customer base, serving as the primary contact for key accounts.
  • Travel for Client Engagement – You will conduct both national and international visits to strengthen client relationships.
  • Market Research and Analysis – You will perform market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new product development or enhancements.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration – You will work closely with teams in marketing, product development, and production to align customer needs with our offerings.
  • Performance Reporting – You will provide insights on sales performance and market trends to senior management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Educational Background – A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant chemical field, coupled with 3-5 years of sales experience in the polymer or chemical industry.
  • Innovative Thinker – You possess a creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in an environment that encourages independent sales strategies.
  • Technical Acumen – A strong interest in the technical aspects of our diverse product range, complemented by a commercial approach.
