Senior Project Manager - Renewable Energy
Location: Germany
Focus Areas: Hydrogen, PtX, CCUS, Biomass, e-Fuels, Energy from Waste

Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team managing a diverse array of global projects, from conventional infrastructure to cutting-edge green initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies to detailed design and on-site management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee projects related to the energy transition, particularly in the development of renewable energy sources and the construction of hydrogen production facilities.
- Design and implement project management methodologies tailored to the unique challenges of large-scale energy transition projects.
- Take charge of project planning, execution, and delivery within sectors such as Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Bioenergy, Offshore Energy, or Energy Intensive Industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets, adhering to industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks and challenges specific to the energy transition landscape.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project outcomes and promote sustainable practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding advancements in the energy transition market.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience managing large and complex projects in the energy transition or renewable energy sectors.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of energy transition technologies, policies, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with a focus on sustainable practices.
- Experience navigating regulatory frameworks and fostering partnerships in the energy transition sector.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one of the specified markets: Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Bioenergy, Offshore Energy, or Energy Intensive Industries.
