Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the data warehouse team in the development and enhancement of user interfaces.
- Engage in a data warehouse environment focusing on data design, database architecture, and the creation of metadata and repositories.
- Define user requirements effectively.
- Establish new standards and procedures for both end-user and internal interface development.
- Collaborate with the Data Architect on technical challenges and system architecture definitions.
- Translate high-level work plans into detailed assignments for team members.
- Monitor assignment statuses and review work for quality and completion.
- Install, operate, and maintain network and storage appliances.
- Perform system updates and install patches as necessary.
- Manage storage allocation, space, and replication strategies.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to storage systems and network storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and restore complex storage problems across the enterprise.
- Recover data as needed.
- Provide recommendations for storage upgrades and support project integration.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NAS protocols and solutions.
- Create and configure volumes, disk shelves, and RAID groups.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
- Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques in Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and support.
- Extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere.
- Proficient understanding of IP-based storage technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, and related network hardware and software.
- Familiarity with desktop operating systems and applications.
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
- Required Certifications:
- DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification is required prior to contract support.
- IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
- Required Computing Environment (CE) certification: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIP) or equivalent certifications.
- Certifications may change based on contractual requirements.
- Location: On Customer Site.
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must be willing to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
- Position may require moderate physical activity, including lifting IT hardware and reaching for cables.
- Travel may be necessary to support mission objectives.
