Job Title: Data Warehousing Project Manager - TS/SCI Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehousing Project Manager to join our team at GDIT. As a Data Warehousing Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in the development and enhancement of data warehouse user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team in the development and enhancement of data warehouse user interfaces
* Work in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation
* Establish user requirements
* Create new standards and procedures related to end-user and internal interface development
* Work with Data Architect on technical issues and system architecture definition
* Translate high-level work plans and convert to detailed assignments for team members
* Monitor status of assignments and review work for completion/quality
* Install, operate, and maintain network and storage appliances
* Install patches and perform system updates
* Manage storage allocation, space, and replication strategies
* Analyze and resolve problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions
* Troubleshoot and restore complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks
* Recover data when required
* Provide recommendations on storage upgrades and support project integration as required
* Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NAS protocols and solutions
* Create and configure volumes, disk shelves, and RAID groups

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and support
* Comprehensive knowledge of VMware vSphere
* Comprehensive knowledge of IP-based storage technologies
* Knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications
* Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
* Required Certification(s): DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
* IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
* Required Computing Environment (CE) certification: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIP) or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA); NetApp Certified Support Engineer, or Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA), or Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) - Administration of Veritas NetBackup, or Dell EMC Expert - Implementation Engineer, or HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect, or HPE Master ASE - Storage Solutions Architect
