PC Support Manager – TS/SCI Clearance Required

As a PC Support Manager with GDIT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of enterprise IT systems. With a strong focus on security and compliance, this position requires a TS/SCI clearance and a proven track record of managing complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement PC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with information systems goals and procedures.
  • Study and project PC resource requirements, including personnel, software, equipment, and facilities, and make recommendations to management.
  • Maintain currency in new developments and technology, and provide training to department staff and end users.
  • Direct the setup and maintenance of libraries and materials for end user reference, and ensure the implementation and enforcement of security procedures.
  • Provide leadership in the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems, and data communications, and manage LAN services as needed.
  • Conduct hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment, and understand the inter-operational relationships of all components to perform maintenance services.
  • Install and incorporate new releases, updates, or other changes to COTS hardware and software, and operate and apply automated hardware management and diagnostics systems.
  • Plan, execute, and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance as approved by government personnel.
  • Provide recommendations on spares, spares program planning, and tracking operational spares and bench stock.
  • Provide technical assistance to responding field service personnel, and assist in repairing computers, printers, digital senders, and other equipment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certification(s):
    • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
    • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
    • Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, etc.
  • Location: On Customer Site.
  • Additional:
    • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract.
    • Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plug in cables), and other moderately strenuous activity.
    • Travel may be required to support the mission.

Disclaimer: The salary range for this position is $106,371 - $40,564, but salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Travel Required: Less than 10%.

Telecommuting Options: Onsite.

Work Location: USA VA Charlottesville.
