Job Title: Senior Consultant Financial Services - Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services team in Cologne. As an ESG expert, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ESG strategies for clients in the financial services sector, including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers.
  • Conduct ESG risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement sustainable finance products, such as green loans and green bonds.
  • Provide training and support to clients on ESG-related topics, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ESG trends, regulations, and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or environmental science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations, including the EU Taxonomy and the German Sustainability Code.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
