Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Program Manager to contribute to the EU Last Mile
Launch and Expansion team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing strategic, large-scale, cross-functional launch and expansion programs, along with new strategic initiatives. This includes the conception and execution of various new sites across the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop practical and straightforward solutions to intricate challenges without compromising quality.
  • Draft and evaluate business cases utilizing insights gathered from stakeholders. Propel business decisions by formulating data-driven, coherent, and persuasive business cases. Ensure the project navigates through critical milestones to meet business objectives.
  • Balance multiple competing priorities while ensuring that critical projects remain visible to all stakeholders, alongside maintaining a plan for less urgent matters.
  • Engage deeply with various work streams to understand each stakeholder's contributions and challenges.
  • Prioritize projects that yield the most significant impact on our business, proposing and securing timely approvals from relevant functional leaders.
  • Assume accountability while providing regular status updates, mitigating risks, managing ambiguity, and effectively escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain the overall project schedule that empowers teams to succeed based on project milestones and targeted launch dates.

A Day in the Life
As a Program Manager at Amazon, your mission is to pioneer innovative thinking, focusing on the big picture, and designing and delivering effective solutions. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business, continuously scouting for new solutions. This role presents an opportunity to significantly influence some of the most exciting new concepts shaping the future of Amazon. Regular communication with senior management regarding status, risks, and change control will be essential. Success in this position requires comfort in interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all organizational levels. An open mind, drive, and ambition will be crucial to remaining innovative within our culture.

About the Team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, is responsible for 'last mile' delivery operations in collaboration with third-party distribution partners. We leverage creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers. Our aim is to enhance the delivery experience for our customers and implement global delivery solutions for our latest concepts, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.

Our operations encompass two primary aspects: Our 'under the roof' associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams, focusing on operations with 24/7 shifts in most locations. Meanwhile, our 'on the road' personnel collaborate with a network of delivery contractors, consistently raising the bar for customer experience through innovative delivery services. We actively seek new methods to address industry-wide logistics challenges and develop ideas to minimize our carbon footprint, supported by a range of cutting-edge vehicles and technology.
