that oversees significant, large-scale, cross-functional launch and
expansion initiatives, as well as new strategic projects. This role will involve
the conception and execution of multiple new sites throughout the EU. Projects will
entail collaboration with real estate, engineering, finance, design, construction, public policy, and various stakeholders to enhance the network
of Amazon Logistics nodes across the EU, facilitating the organization's growth
objectives, alongside other cross-functional Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering &
Infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical and straightforward solutions to intricate challenges without compromising quality.
- Draft and assess business cases utilizing insights gathered from stakeholders. Propel business decisions by formulating data-driven, coherent, and persuasive business cases. Ensure the project navigates through critical milestones to meet business objectives.
- Oversee multiple competing priorities, ensuring that essential projects remain visible to all stakeholders while maintaining a strategy for less urgent matters.
- Delve deeply into various work streams to understand each stakeholder's contributions and challenges.
- Prioritize projects that yield the most significant impact on our business, propose and secure approvals from relevant functional leaders promptly.
- Assume accountability while providing regular status updates, mitigating risks, managing ambiguity, and effectively escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain the overall project timeline that enables teams to succeed based on project milestones and targeted launch dates.

About the Team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, is responsible for 'last mile' delivery operations in collaboration with third-party distribution partners. We leverage creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers. Our aim is to ensure a seamless delivery experience for our customers while rolling out global delivery solutions for our latest concepts, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our operations consist of two main components. Our 'under the roof' associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams, focusing on operations with 24/7 shifts in most locations. Meanwhile, our 'on the road' personnel collaborate with a network of delivery contractors, consistently raising the bar for customer experience through innovative delivery services. We actively seek new methods to tackle industry-wide logistics challenges and implement ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of advanced vehicles and technology.
