Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

We create software solutions for our clients and engage in research and development for our proprietary software products and services, encompassing everything from the user interface to backend operations, both in open-source and commercial contexts.

  • Engage in frontend and web development within small, agile teams – for clients and/or for our proprietary offerings related to the Yatta Platform.
  • Design and enhance modern, intricate web applications, websites, and eCommerce platforms utilizing TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS, and popular frameworks (such as Angular, React, Vue).
  • Develop user interfaces based on Figma designs in close collaboration with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and content creators to ensure usability, accessibility, and a cohesive brand experience.
  • Choose and implement CMS solutions, while developing and customizing templates.
  • Continuously enhance quality through code and design evaluations, adherence to security protocols, thorough documentation, and bug resolution.
  • Proactively share knowledge, skills, and experiences within and across teams to elevate software, code, and design quality.
Essential Qualifications
  • A degree in computer science with commendable academic performance (preferably M.Sc., diploma, or PhD) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in software design and development, particularly in frontend roles – ideally as part of a development team (e.g., through professional experience, open-source contributions, or internships).
  • Technical expertise and familiarity with some of our technologies, frameworks, and tools for frontend and web development in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in constructing, maintaining, and deploying token-based style guides and components.
  • As a bridge between design and technology, user and client, your objective is to consistently identify and implement the most sustainable solutions.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a keen appreciation for feedback to foster personal and professional growth.
  • Understanding of backend development fundamentals to facilitate effective collaboration within the team.
  • A solid grasp of user needs, quality standards, and ergonomics.
  • A passion for interdisciplinary collaboration with a user-centric approach to create software that not only functions effectively but also delights users.
