We are seeking a qualified English-speaking education professional to implement the Fröbel approach of "Bilingual Education" at our education and care service Freudenberg in Berlin-Friedrichshain.To enhance our team at the Fröbel kindergarten Freudenberg, we are looking for an
English-speaking early childhood educator (m/f/d)
who will engage with children aged 0-6 years, working a total of 35 hours per week.
About Our Facility
At our Fröbel kindergarten Freudenberg, a dedicated, creative, and humorous team cares for 90 children aged one to six years. Our educational philosophy emphasizes openness, participation, and individualization. Our educators respond to the children's needs and interests, integrating these into daily educational activities. A stimulating environment with diverse materials fosters the children's educational and developmental journeys.
Here, you can play a vital role in shaping the children's daily experiences. With our vision of "One House", we appreciate your willingness to work in a rotational capacity across both kindergarten and nursery areas. You are encouraged to bring your personal passions, such as music, drama, or other creative skills, into the daily pedagogical activities while collaboratively implementing our special focus on bilingual education. Our spacious two-floor facility offers large, open areas that provide both children and educators with the ideal environment for creative ideas. Additionally, our own garden allows children to explore and play freely. We are also on a path to becoming a "workshop" daycare center, providing children with opportunities to express themselves, experiment, and engage with curiosity and creativity. Your Responsibilities Include:
Supporting all aspects of early childhood education and care in English, Leading (or assisting based on experience and qualifications) the settling-in process, Planning, executing, and documenting educational processes and daily routines collaboratively, Conducting (or assisting based on experience and qualifications) structured observations and documentation of children's development and educational processes, Fostering successful partnerships with parents.Do You Meet the Following Criteria?
Are you currently learning German? Proven German language skills at a minimum of level B1 are essential for this role. Are you a state-certified educator (staatlich anerkannnte*r Erzieher*in) or do you possess a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar qualification? Are you eager to enhance your professional skills? Would you like to gain insights into educational policies in Germany and their practical implementation? Do you believe that children should have early exposure to foreign languages and the opportunity to shape their own learning experiences? Are you interested in collaborating with a team to design and implement an in-house bilingual education concept?We Would Like to Hear From You.
