Project Manager for Power Device Development

As a Project Manager for Power Device Development, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and executing development projects for new IGBT, diode, and SiC MOSFET products. You will work in cooperation with various Infineon sites from Munich to USA and Malaysia, forming, guiding, and motivating cross-functional project teams to create energy and commitment among team members.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute development projects for new power devices
- Form and guide cross-functional project teams
- Take on full project manager responsibilities, including project planning, development target alignments, resources, budget, and risk management
- Act as overall project manager and project owner for subordinate projects, aligning cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain an overview and understanding of the technical background and interdependencies to proactively identify and solve complex challenges
- Consult and act as an interface to internal and external customers
- A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields, preferably a PhD
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, with 3 years as a project leader, preferably in the area of chip development
- Preferable technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing
- A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders, with excellent English skills, and German as a plus
- The ability to understand and structure complex project situations, manage crisis situations, consolidate, and present information
