Position Summary:
Located in Germany, you will oversee a team of local consultants and analysts, focusing on enhancing our renowned expertise in location strategy, site selection, footprint optimization, and economic incentives advisory services. Collaborating with other global consulting leaders, you will play a pivotal role in positioning the Newmark Advantage brand for sustained growth and success in the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership and Business Development
- Work alongside global leadership to formulate strategies aimed at expanding the European practice, particularly in location strategy and economic incentives.
- Engage directly with clients to manage and execute external assignments, while also supporting key corporate service accounts.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with practice leaders and senior consultants across various functions and regions.
- Craft compelling proposals for location strategy and economic incentives advisory services, ensuring clarity and strong service descriptions.
- Establish and nurture client relationships to become a trusted advisor on consulting and technological needs.
- Foster relationships with global colleagues to advance client interests and practice objectives.
- Document and present technical work for client handover, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee project budgets, team utilization, and profitability targets, managing billing and fee structures effectively.
Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement
- Publish insightful articles on location strategy, site selection, and labor analytics, contributing to industry discussions.
- Represent Newmark Advantage at conferences, sharing innovative ideas and trends.
- Conduct thorough research to support business development and project initiatives.
Practice Development
- Participate in industry events to enhance Newmark's thought leadership and visibility.
- Develop strategic approaches for client engagement and market positioning.
- Support various projects and client account management across different asset types.
- Introduce innovative ideas to client engagements and internal processes.
- Adhere to company policies and lead by example in all professional conduct.
Team Development
- Recruit, mentor, and guide staff to achieve both client and personal development objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Economics, Geography, or Engineering.
- Experience in a consultancy or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development, contributing to business growth.
- Proven thought leadership through published articles on relevant industry topics.
- Strong client service orientation with a focus on teamwork and quality control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to integrity and innovation.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams on large projects.
- Experience with multinational projects is preferred.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in German; additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with real estate principles and economic incentives is desirable.
- Proficient in technology and client service tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software.
- Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
