About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MDM Project Manager to join our team at Corporate Business Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing SAP Master Data Management (MDM) projects from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and control national and international SAP MDM project implementations
  • Coordinate and lead interdisciplinary project teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert in defining master data strategies and processes
  • Develop and manage digital end-to-end processes in SAP MDM projects
  • Identify technical dependencies and risks through your cross-functional module knowledge
  • Collaborate with customer department heads and our module consultants to ensure successful implementations
  • Proactively identify and handle problems, including developing solution proposals considering economic and capacity-related aspects
  • Support the development of internal knowledge and the further development of the Competence Center
  • Contribute to the development of our project management methodology
  • Independently create and process offers for future customer projects

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in business administration, business informatics, business engineering, or comparable courses
  • Experience in conceiving, executing, controlling, and leading SAP ERP projects (preferably in the area of master data management or logistics), as well as initial knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
  • Alternatively: several years of experience as an SAP consultant, preferably with a focus on master data or logistics (e.g., SD, MM, PP, WM) and experience as a project leader
  • Desirable: cross-functional SAP knowledge and overarching integration knowledge
  • Interest in implementing end-to-end MDM solutions, ideally involving corresponding tools such as SAP MDG or other leading MDM technologies and solutions
  • Strong methodological knowledge in project management, preferably also knowledge of agile methods (Prince 2, Scrum, etc.)
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking, excellent communication skills on all management levels in multicultural environments, as well as a diplomatic and proactive working style
  • Desirable: initial experience in leading project teams
  • Very good German and English language skills
