Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to enhance our Finance department at the Taufkirchen site. This role involves performing internal audits across all divisions of HENSOLDT AG to improve profitability and reduce risks through actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and execute internal audits, project evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Examine business operations, identify risks, and assess control measures
  • Review current risk management frameworks
  • Assess the internal governance and control framework
  • Formulate suggestions for operational enhancements and risk reduction
  • Draft audit reports and communicate findings to senior management
  • Engage in the ongoing enhancement of auditing techniques
  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual audit strategy
  • Act as a liaison for operational departments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting or finance
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are advantageous
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, auditing, or internal auditing
  • Proficient in forensic analysis and prevention of financial misconduct
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks
  • Skilled in MS Office and SAP applications
  • Adept at analyzing intricate issues and proposing solutions
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
  • Fluent in German and English; proficiency in French is a plus
