Procurement Specialist

At GULP – experts united, we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing national and international procurement markets for defined foundry input materials (direct materials) and deriving procurement strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze procurement markets and develop procurement strategies for direct materials
  • Prepare and define negotiation strategies, conduct purchasing negotiations, and draft contracts
  • Create and evaluate comparisons of offers
  • Coordinate and reconcile requirements with suppliers
  • Continuously analyze the risks of existing suppliers and input materials
  • Initiate and review ratio projects and support their implementation
  • Ensure system-related purchasing processing, including master data and price maintenance
  • Prepare make-or-buy decisions
  • Support the preparation and representation of the Purchasing department for your area of responsibility in internal and external audits

Your Profile:

  • Completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering
  • Many years of relevant experience in series purchasing, sound knowledge of SAP, strong cost awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiating skills, convincing appearance
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
