As a key member of our team at GULP – experts united, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist - Direct Materials to join our ranks. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our business partners to source and procure high-quality direct materials for our iron foundry.

About the Role

  • Analyze national and international procurement markets to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of our business partners.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with our company's policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement processes.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering.
  • Proven experience in series purchasing, with a strong understanding of SAP and cost awareness.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
