Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator specializing in Database Server management to join our team.
Location: Near Hannover
Contract Type: 3-year B2B Contract
Compensation: Day rate to be discussed
Language Requirement: Native German speaker is mandatory
Security Clearance: The successful candidate will be required to obtain or already possess security clearance.
Work Arrangement: The role will primarily be on-site, with the possibility of individual remote workdays by prior arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for Internet, databases, and intranet systems.
- Manage web services and associated servers running on Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Oversee GitLab and OpenProject instances hosted on Linux, Nginx, and PostgreSQL.
- Administer central databases utilizing MS SQL.
- Support intranet operations using SharePoint and its related servers.
- Conduct performance monitoring to ensure optimal system functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Internet technology.
- Proficiency in Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Familiarity with GitLab and OpenProject on Linux, Nginx, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and its associated servers.
- Experience with virtualization platforms and server operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows Server.
- Strong awareness of IT security and data protection protocols.
