Your New Role

As an Engineering Manager at Cognigy, you'll be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of software engineers, working closely with our Support, QA, and SRE teams to ensure the delivery process and product stability. You'll collaborate with our Product and People teams to drive innovation, overcome new challenges, and ensure the success of our products and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of software engineers
  • Providing resources to improve engineers' skills
  • Goal setting and quarterly assessment of team members
  • Training the team on best practices to ensure high-quality products
  • Removing obstacles blocking engineers from achieving their objectives
  • Setting up organization structures and processes for fast flow and scalability
  • Facilitating communication between engineering disciplines
  • Defining and driving initiatives for long-term improvements within the team
  • Human Resource Management tasks, such as recruitment, remuneration, career planning, and long-term vacation planning
Requirements
